Our Review of the Morgan Cycle Red Bird Tricycle
Modeled after the classic 1934 Van Doren design that is displayed in museums, the Morgan Cycle Red Bird Tricycle is a modern classic. From the chrome trim to cherry red powder coated curves to the leather saddle seat, the Red Bird is a beautiful-looking trike. The durable steel spokes, solid rubber wheels, working headlight and adjustable handlebars also make it fun to ride.
At 26 lbs., it is on the heavy side, so it might not be the best trike for a family on the go. Some assembly is required also, but it won't take more than 15 minutes.
If you're in the market for a retro trike but can't decide, just remember that Schwinn also makes the Roadster, which is less expensive but less of a tricycle design and more like a Big Wheel.
